West Brom beat Derby to go top of Championship

In a 1-0 victory over Derby at Pride Park, West Brom secured the top spot in the Championship on Wednesday, despite being reduced to 10 men for over an hour. West Brom's fourth win from their last six league games put them one point ahead of second-placed West Ham, who defeated Bolton on Tuesday. Norwich, currently ninth, improved their position with a 2-1 victory over Birmingham at Carrow Road, marking their third win in four league games. Norwich's second-half goal from Papa Diallo was not enough to prevent Birmingham's defeat, their first league loss of the season.
