Video: Manila defence chief slams 'bullying' China after note at forum

Teodoro read out the contents of the note, which outlined China's stance on the South China Sea arbitration and its assertion of territorial claims.

He vehemently criticized China's actions, stating that the arbitration violated fundamental principles of international law and that the note represented an act of aggression. Teodoro emphasized that the incident demonstrated China's desperation and called for basic decency and respectful behavior from China. The incident occurred during a forum organized by South Korea's defense ministry, but neither the South Korean defense ministry nor the Chinese embassy has commented on Teodoro's allegations.
