Urvashi, Joju George face off in gripping ‘Aasha’ trailer

Dubai: The trailer for ‘Aasha’, the first collaboration on-screen between acclaimed actors Urvashi and Joju George, has been unveiled. The suspenseful drama unfolds around a sudden accident and the subsequent series of events. Urvashi and Joju George star as central characters in the unfolding conflict, while Aishwarya Lekshmi portrays Urvashi’s daughter. Vijayaraghavan also plays a pivotal role.

The trailer’s rapid pace creates an atmosphere of intrigue and tension, further fueling expectations following the film’s teaser visuals and first-look posters. Notably, Urvashi’s character undergoes a significant transformation, which has drawn considerable attention. ‘Aasha’ will be released in five languages, alongside the performances of Ramesh Girija, who gained recognition for his role in ‘Pani’.

Vinayaka Ajith, the film’s producer under Ajith Vinayaka Films, has previously supported projects like ‘Ponman’ and ‘Gaganachari’. Debutant director Safar Sanal helms the film, with Joju George, Ramesh Girija, and Sanal jointly crafting the screenplay and dialogues. Madhu Neelakandan serves as the cinematographer, while Shan Muhammed is responsible for editing.

Govind Vasanth provides the film’s musical score, with Mammootty lending his voice to the narrative.
