President Pedro Sánchez clashed with opposition leader Alberto Núñez Feijóo during a live session on Wednesday, addressing the ongoing migrant crisis in Ceuta. Feijóo accused Sánchez of "failing to protect Spain" due to allowing "a provocation, either consented or spurred on by Morocco," and criticized the President for not being "a free leader" because he "relies on the silence of many people." Sánchez responded, "We will return to the polls and we will win again."

ERC's press spokesman at Congress, Gabriel Rufián, asked Sánchez how he intends to continue his term and what measures he will take to curb the rise in political polls for the People's Party (PP) and Vox. “You have said you want to be President in 2027 and beyond,” Rufián questioned, “how will you achieve this? How is this done? With whom will you partner?”

The Government will release reports received between July 1 and August 1 from the National Police, Guardia Civil, and the National Institute on the migratory pressure in Ceuta. Meanwhile, Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares continued in Brussels, seeking to reinforce Ceuta and Melilla's involvement in European institutions.
