UCL: Newcomers Jesus, Adeyemi net as Barcelona thrash Feyenoord 5-1

Gabriel Jesus, the Barcelona striker, has disclosed that he was prohibited from Arsenal's first-team training prior to his transfer to the LaLiga champions this summer. The Brazilian had been excluded from the Gunners' first two games of the season under manager Mikel Arteta. Eventually, Jesus ended his four-year tenure with Arsenal by signing a relatively affordable £8.6 million deal with the Spanish giants.

Speaking to SportyTV, Jesus detailed his final days at the Emirates. He recounted, "I'm a professional, you know and then obviously I was training with the group and then from nothing they put me to train away from the group." Jesus added that the support from Deco, the club's president, and his agent made the situation manageable.

In just one day, it became evident that he would have the chance to join Barcelona, and he promptly accepted the offer, regardless of the circumstances, expressing his immense happiness about his new position.
