Trump Launches Back-to-Back Attacks on ‘3rd Rate’ Kaitlan Collins and ‘Unattractive’ Maggie Haberman

President Donald Trump continued his public criticism of CNN journalist Kaitlan Collins and New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman through his social media platform, Truth Social. On Tuesday, Trump labeled Collins as a "3rd rate" anchor, citing her low ratings and accusing her of presenting "FICTION AND LIES" during a panel discussion. He also called for CNN to replace her to restore credibility to the network, which has been struggling in TV ratings.

Trump then turned his attention to Haberman, suggesting she "knows less about me than the average reporter 'on the beat'." He defended himself against a New York Times story alleging he planned to skip a 9/11 memorial service at Ground Zero, claiming the Pentagon denied him permission to speak due to security reasons. Trump stated that Haberman and other reporters involved in the story were unaware of the facts, and accused her of lying.

Trump demanded that both Haberman and the New York Magazine retract their statements about him, and criticized the press for its treatment of him. He had previously called out Collins at the White House Correspondents' Dinner and labeled Haberman a "fake reporter" over the 9/11 story, which the New York Times defended as being based on information from multiple sources.

Trump asked both journalists to retract their statements, and representatives for CNN, the New York Times, and New York Magazine did not respond to requests for comment.
