Statesmen Series sasar lebih 1,000 belia, kongsi pengalaman tokoh negara

More than 1,000 young people are expected to participate in the Statesmen Series, a program organized by Tumbuh Bersama Malaysia and Prihatin Youth Club Malaysia. The initiative aims to provide an opportunity for young people to hear directly from experienced leaders, foundation builders, and national developers. Designed to run for at least five sessions across various locations nationwide throughout 2026 and 2027, the program seeks to bridge the gap between young generations and individuals who have directly involved in public administration, corporate leadership, and foundation building.

According to Luqman Hakim Md Zim, President of Tumbuh Bersama Malaysia, the program aims to create a bridge between young generations and experienced individuals who have led large institutions, managed crises, built foundations, and made decisions impacting millions of citizens. By sharing their experiences firsthand, young people will not only hear about the experiences of these notable figures but also understand the considerations behind decisions and the challenges faced while leading.

The series will also delve into failures, dilemmas, and difficult decisions made by leaders, offering a more comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities that come with leadership.

The inaugural session of the Statesmen Series featured Abdul Wahid Omar, a corporate executive and former minister, sharing his experiences in the corporate and public sector, including leading several major national institutions and serving in the federal government administration. Future sessions are expected to include past deputy prime ministers, industry leaders, corporate executives, and other individuals with significant experiences in national development.

The goal is to provide participants with a broader perspective on the relationships between the government, private sector, society, and institutions in determining Malaysia's development direction.
