Renowned Nigerian comedians Seyi Law, Oni Lukuman-Olanrewaju, also known as Ambassador Waahala, Funny Razaq, and Wale Baba are among the star performers for the much-anticipated comedy show titled "The Pensioner" in Abuja on September 20, 2026. The event is being hosted by Ambassador Waahala at the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, and is scheduled to commence at 5pm.

This year's edition of the annual show, dubbed "September to Remember," will emphasize family bonding and audience participation. Attendees can look forward to a night of laughter, music, comedy, and games, featuring performances by Rugged Man, Sugar Boy, and other esteemed singers. A surprise guest, a top Nigerian female musician, has also been confirmed for the event.

This year's show will place greater emphasis on family activities, with dancing and games competitions such as 'gele tying', drinking, eating, and tie-knotting competitions. The event has also become an empowerment platform, with participants who win family games receiving fantastic prizes, including refrigerators, microwaves, and bags of rice.
