Russian attacks kill at least 12, injure 66 across Ukraine as Russia continues relentless strikes on Kyiv

In the span of a single day, Russian attacks across Ukraine have claimed the lives of at least 12 individuals and left 66 others injured, according to local officials. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported five casualties in the Darnytskyi district after a morning strike targeted a 24-story residential building. The Kyiv Regional State Administration noted that Russia's assaults damaged 31 sites, including 11 houses, two apartment complexes, and five production facilities.

Russian drones continued their relentless strikes on Kyiv, launching 196 attack drones, including jet-powered ones, throughout the day and night. Ukrainian air defenses managed to intercept 165 drones, while 23 incidents involving missiles and drones were documented. President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed deep concern over the daily toll of Russian attacks, urging the international community to respond, lest Russia believes it can perpetrate missile and drone terror without facing consequences.

Russian forces also targeted Odesa, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions, causing damage to civilian infrastructure, homes, and vehicles.
