The list of potential 2027 free-agent fits for Detroit is extensive, ranging from players like Jazz Chisholm Jr., Randy Arozarena, Michael King, Sonny Gray, David Bednar, and Pete Fairbanks. However, these players are not necessarily being actively pursued by the Tigers. Instead, the list highlights where the Tigers could potentially fit these players on their roster.

At the second base position, the Tigers may be looking to replace Gleyber Torres, who could become a free agent. Chisholm, Arraez, and Brandon Lowe are among the players identified as potential fits.
