ROX begins UAE production as Abu Dhabi manufacturing hub takes shape

The first UAE-manufactured ROX ADAMAS vehicles have commenced production at the company's state-of-the-art AI manufacturing facility in Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi, signaling a significant expansion of the emirate's industrial capabilities. The company projects this hub will reach an annual output of 300,000 vehicles by 2030, in line with the UAE's Operation 300bn strategy aimed at bolstering the industrial sector.

The production line encompasses over 80 component sub-assembly processes, followed by assembly, calibration, testing, and final inspection. Accompanying the main facility is the ROX AI Lab and the ROX Design Studio, integrating AI development and vehicle design into the production process. The plant's output is framed under the "Made in the UAE, Made for the World" philosophy, with vehicles destined for both the domestic market and global markets.

As production ramps up, more vehicles from Abu Dhabi are expected to enter international markets, cementing the plant's role in ROX's global supply chain. The scale of the Kezad site underscores this ambition, as it is designed to handle the entirety of vehicle construction, from sub-assembly to testing and inspection, a level of capability typically associated with established manufacturers.

The rapid establishment of ROX's presence in Abu Dhabi, including showrooms, service centers, and parts hubs, complements this manufacturing hub, positioning the city as a hub for vehicle development, sales, and aftersales support. The launch of the first batch of UAE-manufactured ADAMAS vehicles for the ROX Grand Tour, a long-distance testing expedition, reinforces the company's commitment to real-world performance evaluation and its integrated approach to vehicle development, production, and testing.

This move aligns with Abu Dhabi's broader industrial objectives under Operation 300bn, highlighting the government's ongoing support for the company's growth.
