Rivals season 2 part 2 release date confirmed by Hulu and Disney+ — but it's the first-look images that have me screaming

Rivals season 2 part 2 is set to premiere on November 11, 2026, on both Hulu in the US and Disney+ internationally. The season will commence with a three-episode premiere, followed by weekly releases of the remaining episodes. The cast will return, with the exception of one character, but new faces will also be introduced.

Among the newcomers are Lady Monica Baddingham’s vampish younger sister Araminta Pemberton, portrayed by Rachael Stirling, erudite headmaster David Hawkley played by Rupert Evans, and Argentinian Polo legend Alejandro Mendoza brought to life by Santiago Cabrera.

The plot for part 2 is hinted at through first-look images, which reveal a reconciliation between Lizzie (Katherine Parkinson) and Freddie (Danny Dyer). This reunion was previously hinted at, but Lizzie decided to end things with Freddie due to the complications of their lives intertwining. However, it seems that her decision may not have brought her the happiness she hoped for, suggesting that this reunion might not last forever. The season is expected to deliver secrets, betrayals, and explosive twists.
