Razer Launches Reclusa X Mini 65% Keyboard

Videogames peripheral brand Razer has introduced a new line of keyboards called Reclusa, designed for enthusiasts who prioritize the sound, feel, and performance of each keystroke. The first member of this line is the Reclusa X Mini 65% keyboard. This compact 65% keyboard is aimed at providing an enjoyable user experience from the start, with the option to customize it as desired later on.

Despite its small size, it retains Razer's gaming-focused features, such as hot-swappable customisation and tuned acoustics. The keyboard features Razer's signature tri-tone design, which makes it visually appealing before any modifications are made. By default, it comes with Orange switches, which are similar to Brown switches on Cherry MX keyboards.

Razer claims that the switches used in the Gen-3 iteration are quieter while still providing a satisfying tactile bump. The keyboard utilizes dual-layer silicone dampening to minimize unwanted resonance and hollow noise, while also enhancing the feel and sound of every keystroke. For those who prefer a different typing experience, the hot-swappable PCB allows compatibility with most industry-standard three- and five-pin mechanical switches.

The keyboard is factory-lubricated for smoother, consistent keypresses, even without any immediate modifications. Priced at RM239, the Reclusa X Mini 65% is Razer's most affordable mechanical keyboard, likely due to the X, Mini, and 65% designations rather than the Reclusa line as a whole. It is now available for purchase at retailers and Razer's official online store.
