Prime Video releases full trailer for Mike Flanagan's Carrie

Prime Video has unveiled the complete trailer for Mike Flanagan's reimagined series, Carrie. Initially skeptical, the reporter expresses doubt about the necessity of another remake given the iconic status of the original. However, Flanagan, a fan of his own work on Netflix horror and a fan of Stephen King's stories, reassures that his adaptation aims to be a surprise.

At San Diego Comic-Con, Flanagan emphasized Carrie's iconic status, acknowledging the iconic 1970s adaptation by Brian De Palma. He insisted, "There is no reason whatsoever to try to follow in those footsteps." Nonetheless, Flanagan believes the world has evolved, noting, "The biggest thing I'm excited about today is just knowing what a big surprise our Carrie is going to be."
