Penélope Cruz, John Malkovich, Michelle Yeoh among stars expected to attend TIFF

TORONTO — The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is set to welcome an array of stars, including Penélope Cruz, Michelle Yeoh, and John Malkovich. The festival, marking its 51st edition, announced a guest list of 800 individuals on Wednesday, just before the festivities were to commence. Cruz is slated to attend the screenings of "Bunker" and "La Bola Negra," and has been honored with a Tribute Award at a TIFF fundraiser on Sunday.

Yeoh, meanwhile, appears in the film "The Surgeon." Malkovich stars in Martin McDonagh's CIA black comedy "Wild Horse Nine," set to feature alongside Sam Rockwell and Steve Buscemi, both also expected to attend the red carpet. Canadian attendees include Seth Rogen, who appears in his wife Lauren Miller Rogen’s film "Babies," and Rush bandmates Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee, who are attending the documentary "Neil Peart: No One's Disciple."

Other expected guests include Sebastian Stan, Cynthia Erivo, Jesse Eisenberg, Fan Bingbing, and the sisters Kate and Rooney Mara.
