Nollywood actress Ogundimu seeks help for cancer treatment

Nollywood actress Omotunde Ogundimu has reached out to Nigerians for financial aid to continue her cervical cancer treatment. Diagnosed in 2024, the illness has impacted her physically, emotionally, and financially. In an interview with colleague Biola Bayo, Ogundimu expressed her struggle to sustain the high costs of her treatment.

Despite the support she has received, including from her children, she is overwhelmed and calls for public assistance. Ogundimu, a 35-year veteran of the Nigerian film industry, currently earns between N20,000 and N40,000 for acting roles, a far cry from her former earnings. She implores the public to forgive her and consider her journey and the legacy of the industry.
