Monster Hunter Wilds is headed to the Switch 2 on later this year, comes with local co-operative play

Monster Hunter Wilds is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 later this year, bringing local co-operative play to the console. During the Nintendo Direct event, it was announced that the game, along with all its free DLC updates, will be available on this version of the Switch. Players can expect to receive the game on December 5th.

Much like its predecessors, Monster Hunter Wilds for Switch 2 will feature local co-op support, allowing friends to team up and embark on hunting adventures together. Additionally, the Nintendo Direct trailer hinted at an upcoming expansion, Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascension. This expansion promises to introduce a new hunting region, fresh story quests, and, of course, new monsters for players to encounter.
