Mohammed bin Rashid: 'I want UAE government to be the best in the world'

Dubai: Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has expressed his desire for the UAE Government to become the best government globally, as he inaugurated a new government season with a message of ambition and determination. In a post on his X account, he stated that every government season begins with a meeting with his team, who set the course for the upcoming period.

"We begin, with God's blessing, a new season with renewed spirit, strong determination and ambitions worthy of our nation," Sheikh Mohammed stated.

The Vice President outlined a clear objective for his government team: "I want the UAE Government to be the best government in the world." He concluded his message on a positive note, expressing optimism about the upcoming chapter: "Our next chapter will be greater, God willing."

This message comes as the UAE government embarks on a new season of work, following Sheikh Mohammed's recent emphasis on accelerating government performance, embracing artificial intelligence and digital transformation, and maintaining the nation's development momentum. At a recent Cabinet meeting, Sheikh Mohammed encouraged government teams to "never stop," outlining priorities that include a significant AI-driven transformation of government services and further enhancements in decision-making and efficiency.

During the opening of the new government season, Sheikh Mohammed met with business leaders, dignitaries, and senior officials at Zabeel Palace, where he reviewed the UAE's path forward with Sheikh Mansour.
