Lego Digital Play acquires mobile studio Offroad Games

Lego Digital Play has acquired mobile studio Offroad Games, a UK company founded by former Space Ape Games employees. The deal was announced on LinkedIn, with Offroad Games calling it an "incredibly exciting new chapter" for the studio. Financial terms were not disclosed, and Offroad Games did not provide details on how it will operate within Lego Digital Play.

The studio was founded in March 2025 after spinning out from Space Ape Games in March 2025. In its announcement, Offroad Games expressed gratitude to its team and supporters who backed the studio through its spinout. They thanked everyone who made the journey enjoyable through its ups and downs and acknowledged the welcome they received from Lego Digital Play.
