I a dispute brewing in the surrounding area, Mobashar Sharif, the CEO of Fossum Terrasse Borettslag, assures potential buyers that only people of normal size reside there. The dispute involves cartoonish images of children playing football in the background of an advertisement for a flat on the east side of Oslo, near Tante Ulrikkes vei.

The image, edited with artificial intelligence, shows the children as giants in comparison to the building's residents. Sharif, standing 1.93 meters tall, jokes that he is small compared to the football players depicted. The advertisement has already been ridiculed on the net, with one user questioning whether they would buy a flat adjacent to a giant football pitch.

A property agent and partner of Wahid, Haleem Wahid of Nordvik St. Hanshaugen, confirmed that the image had been edited with artificial intelligence. He said that such images edited indoors in the apartment are usually noticeable in Nordvik ads. However, exterior images and facades are less conspicuous. Wahid stated that as long as no changes are made that significantly alter the building's facade, there is no problem.

It turned out to be no problem, as the image was removed from the advertisement and replaced with another just over an hour after E24 contacted Wahid about the issue. Even though the dispute involving children playing football may be humorous, the image gives a fundamentally incorrect representation of the surrounding area, making it seem inappropriate to use in future advertisements.

Wahid assured E24 that there are no disputes in Stovner, the nearby area. However, it turned out that the image was not only affected by AI-generated anomalies but also included a non-existent road and a bus stop right outside the apartment complex, which does not exist in reality. Sharif, the borettslag CEO, expressed shock that a road and bus stop had been added to the image, both of which do not exist in the real world.
