Mumbai: The engineering firm Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a substantial offshore contract from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC). The contract value, classified by L&T as "large", is estimated to range between Rs 2,500 crore and Rs 5,000 crore. The project, carried out by L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore (LTEH Offshore), involves the additional development of Ratna-I and the NLM-14 project.
LTEH Offshore will undertake engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning work, including the installation of three new well-head platforms, one riser platform, and multiple sections of subsea pipelines and cables.
