Kyrgyz Republic presents Tamchy SFIT at AIM Congress in Dubai as gateway to Central Asia for foreign capital

The Kyrgyz Republic showcased the Tamchy Special Financial Investment Territory (Tamchy SFIT) at the 15th annual AIM Congress investment forum taking place in Dubai from September 7-9. Delegated by Ayaz Baetov, Chairman of Tamchy SFIT's Management Council, the team engaged in numerous high-level meetings with government and business representatives both at the congress and during other key events.

At the opening ceremony of the congress and a gala dinner on the first evening, Tamchy SFIT was recognized as an official partner. The delegation held discussions with UAE officials such as Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, and Abdulla Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Secretary General of the UAE International Investment Council, focusing on trade, economic, and investment cooperation.

They also met with representatives from the Gulf Cooperation Council, the Dubai International Financial Centre, Qatar Financial Centre, and Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, discussing potential collaboration and the exchange of best practices. The Kyrgyz delegation emphasized the legal and institutional foundations of Tamchy SFIT, based on English common law, an independent court, digital administration, and a special tax regime.

They sought to attract international businesses to establish projects in the territory, complementing their existing headquarters in the Gulf countries.
