Kahramaa raises awareness of advanced water connection service for sites under construction

Doha, Qatar - Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) is promoting its Advanced Water Connection Service to developers and construction firms. This service allows water to be supplied to sites under construction, worker accommodations, and prefabricated facilities through existing water networks.

The service offers a direct and regulated water source during the construction phase, replacing the frequent use of water tankers. Kahramaa aims to enhance service quality for customers, developers, and contractors by providing a continuous, high-quality water supply around the clock. This approach reduces time, effort, and costs compared to relying on tankers.

By reducing the need for private tankers, the service aims to minimize congestion on roads, at filling stations, and in residential areas. It also supports public safety by reducing the movement of heavy vehicles within construction zones. The Advanced Water Connection Service can later be converted to a permanent connection, adhering to approved procedures and regulations.
