iPhone 18 India prices: Pro starts at ₹1,64,900; Pro Max priced from ₹1,79,900

Apple is set to launch the iPhone 18 and iPhone 18 Pro Max in India, with prices starting at ₹1,64,900 and ₹1,79,900 respectively. The new flagship phones will be available in four storage options - 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB. Customers can choose from four finishes including burgundy, glacier, silver, and black. Pre-orders will begin on September 12, with sales kicking off on September 18.

The headline feature of the iPhone 18 Pro is its new 48MP Fusion Main camera, featuring a variable aperture for enhanced creative control. Additionally, Apple has introduced Pro Controls within the Camera app, allowing users to manually adjust shutter speed, aperture, white balance, and exposure. The camera also introduces Apple Reference Image, a feature that generates an authenticated version of a photo to verify image authenticity.

Powered by Apple's new A20 Pro processor, the iPhone 18 Pro lineup offers improved memory bandwidth, a faster GPU, and a Dual 16-core Neural Engine. The Pro models also boast a redesigned Dynamic Island and a next-generation thermal management system for sustained performance during gaming. The iPhone 18 Pro Max is claimed to have the largest battery life improvement ever on an iPhone, with eSIM-only models providing up to 45 hours of video playback.

Fast charging has also been improved, with wired charging reaching 50% in around 15 minutes under supported conditions. The devices ship with iOS 27, featuring Apple Intelligence and the new Siri AI, which can understand personal context across apps.
