However, many financial institutions lack the necessary laws and regulations, according to Lassiter in the Handelsblatt Invest podcast.

Financial houses must prepare for the coexistence of old and new systems, bearing the costs of operating two systems simultaneously. Lassiter, who began her career at the US regulatory agency FDIC, notes that a gradual transition also has its advantages.
