Guardians Get a Much Needed Win

The Cleveland Guardians secured a significant victory in their game against the Baltimore Orioles at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. This win brought the Guardians one game closer to clinching a playoff spot while placing them 17 games away from elimination. With every game being a crucial one, the pressure on the teams is mounting.

In the early innings, the Guardians took an early lead. Steven Kwan scored the first run with a leadoff double, followed by Jo Adell's single to bring home the first run. Angel Martínez continued the momentum with a triple in the second inning, extending the Guardians' lead to 3-0.

The Guardians' bullpen then took over, with Tim Herrin and Craig Yoho pitching effectively and shutting down the Orioles. In the bottom of the eighth, Hunter Gaddis made a crucial contribution, getting out of the inning after giving up a walk.
