Google Messages rolls out Keep Notes integration on Android

Google has recently introduced an integration of Keep Notes into its Messages application for Android users. This new feature enables users to seamlessly create and share notes within conversations. Upon opening a conversation, a 'plus' menu appears, providing access to the new Keep Notes shortcut. Users can also find a contextual "Create list" option in the suggestions row.

Upon tapping the Keep icon, users are presented with their notes feed, featuring a "Create a note" button at the bottom-right corner. This brings up an editor with simplified functions for list creation and formatting. The Google Account associated with the Messages application is utilized for this integration. The send button shares the note to the chat with a real-time preview.

Tapping the chat bubble allows for further editing of the note, including checking off list items. This integration aims to provide users with a streamlined process for creating and sharing notes. The update to include Keep Notes in Google Messages is carried out via a server-side update, reaching wide availability in recent days.
