Entourage creator sounds pretty pissed at Jeremy Piven for that Entourage sports betting ad

Entourage creator Doug Ellin has expressed strong displeasure with a recent sports betting ad featuring the show's stars Jeremy Piven and Adrian Grenier. The ad, which aired for Betr, a sports gambling site, showcases Piven and Grenier in what appears to be character-based performances reminiscent of their roles on the eight-season series.

Ellin found the advertisement to be utterly repulsive, particularly due to Piven's aged portrayal of his fast-talking character. Despite questions about his involvement, Ellin confirmed that he had not been part of the ad's creation, but he did criticize the commercial, stating that it makes him physically ill. He expressed frustration at Piven's participation, recalling that he had initially struggled to convince Piven to join the show and that Piven had later distanced himself from it.

Despite maintaining no bitterness towards his former castmates, Ellin urged them to pursue their own projects. Betr responded to Ellin's criticism, thanking him for "helping promote" the ad.
