EBiDAN’s ‘Yes! Tokyo’ Reclaims No. 1 on Japan Hot 100 as Sakanaction’s ‘Kaiju’ Surges on Single Release

EBiDAN's "Yes! Tokyo" returns to the top spot on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart, marking its second week at No. 1. The single, which is the artist's 15th-anniversary release, features nine of EBiDAN's acts, including Bullet Train, M!LK, and SUPER★DRAGON. It first topped the chart on August 19 and has now sold over 87,129 copies this week, surpassing the 1.48 million cumulative sales mark.

The song also maintains its position at No. 2 in video views and No. 2 in streaming. The track's success can be attributed to TV appearances on NHK's Venue101, which have contributed to an overall point total of around 141% of last week's figure.

Meanwhile, Sakanaction's "Kaiju" is climbing the chart, surging 97-11 due to the release of its CD single "Kaiju / Iranai," featuring remixes by Cornelius and Takkyu Ishino (Denki Groove). The track has entered the top 10 with a No. 6 position in sales. Other notable moves include Motoki Ohmori's "Haiiro" rising to No. 1 on radio airplay and No. 4 in downloads, and fav me's "Nyan te Zurui no!" debuting at No. 3, with No. 2 in sales.

Meanwhile, =LOVE's "Koi, Hajimemashita." drops to No. 4, and The World Standard (Wasuta) debuts at No. 5 with their new track "Watta Life!" King & Prince's "So Honey" enters at No. 6 after its CD release on September 2. Spitz's "Mishiranu Ito" rounds out the top 10, sitting at No. 10.
