Crime thriller ‘Last Seen’ premieres on Apple TV

Apple TV subscribers now have the opportunity to watch the first two episodes of the Australian kidnapping drama, "Last Seen." The show stars Patrick Brammall, known for his role in "Glitch." Following an initial announcement, the platform has swiftly delivered the new six-part thriller, with further episodes scheduled to roll out every Wednesday until October 7.

Based on the novel "The Dispatcher" by award-winning author Ryan David Jahn, "Last Seen" marks Apple TV's fall lineup, alongside other premieres such as "Slow Horses season six," "Brothers" starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, and "Matchbox: The Movie." Additionally, the network introduces its audience to "Where’s Wanda?" season two and the second season of "Mayday," featuring Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh.

In "Last Seen," police detective Ian Ridley (played by Brammall) grapples with the loss of his young daughter, Maggie, 11 years ago. Now serving as a police dispatcher, the only solace he finds is his unyielding belief that Maggie is alive. When he receives a distress call that he suspects is from his daughter, Ian is determined to find her and bring his family back together, no matter the consequences.

Apple TV subscribers can access the thriller for $14.99 per month or as part of the Apple One bundle. Other notable offerings on the platform include hit TV shows and movies like "Ted Lasso," "Severance," "The Studio," "The Morning Show," "Shrinking," and "Silo."
