Bryce Underwood's Struggles Raising Alarm Bells Ahead of Oklahoma

Bryce Underwood, Michigan's star quarterback, faced criticism after a struggling freshman season where he completed only 60.3% of his passes, throwing for 2,428 yards, 11 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. On top of that, he managed just 392 rushing yards and six rushing scores. This disappointing performance led college football analyst Josh Pate to express concern about whether Underwood's struggles might signal a quarterback problem for the Wolverines.

Pate noted that the talent Western Michigan posed for the Wolverines was nothing compared to what Oklahoma will bring to town. With a defense considered among the best in the nation, Pate warned that Underwood may have to face a much tougher challenge against Oklahoma, potentially leading to further scrutiny if he continues to underperform.
