At Interfaith Prayer, Sanwo-Olu Vows to Campaign for Tinubu Across 36 States, FCT

At an interfaith prayer session organized by the All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, pledged to campaign for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election across all 36 states of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The prayer session, which brought together Christian, Muslim, and traditional religious leaders, aimed to commit the party’s campaign and electoral activities to God and to reassure voters, stakeholders, and the upcoming elections for the divine support.

Sanwo-Olu emphasized his commitment to actively participating in President Tinubu’s presidential campaign and that of other party candidates, highlighting that the president’s victory is crucial for both Lagos State and Nigeria. He assured that the prayer session was not just a spiritual launch for the APC mobilisation for the 2027 elections but also a call for unity, divine guidance, and victory for APC candidates at all levels.

Specifically, Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, who is contesting the governorship seat, received the governor’s assurance of the party’s support, pledging to work across Lagos to secure Hamzat’s victory and that of other APC candidates at national and state levels.
