Apple's First Foldable, iPhone 18 Pro Series To Launch In India Today: Here's How To Watch The Event

Apple is set to unveil its first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Ultra, and the iPhone 18 Pro series during its annual keynote event in Apple's Cupertino headquarters today. The event, starting at 10:30pm IST, will be hosted by the company's new CEO, John Ternus, and streamed live on Apple's official platforms.

The iPhone Ultra is the highlight of the event, rumored to feature a unique book-style fold design with a screen size between 7.7 and 7.8 inches. Apple is reportedly engineering a titanium alloy hinge to minimize the visible crease, a common criticism of existing foldable phones. The device is expected to come equipped with Apple's A20 chip, a dual 48-megapixel camera system, and potentially dispense with Face ID in favor of a Touch ID sensor.

Following the Ultra, Apple is expected to release the refreshed iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. These models are anticipated to focus on internal upgrades, including a smaller Dynamic Island, a refined OLED display, and a variable-aperture main camera. They are expected to run on the new A20 Pro chip and possibly incorporate Apple's next-generation C2 modem and N2 networking chip for enhanced performance.

In the wearable space, Apple is rumored to launch the Apple Watch Series 12, which may receive a new processor for improved health tracking features, and the Apple Watch Ultra 4, which is also expected to get a processor upgrade and possible sensor enhancements.
