Apple Watch Ultra 4 is official: All the upgrades explained

Pricing and availability: Preorders for the Apple Watch Ultra 4 began today, and the device is set to launch on September 18 at a price of $799, matching the Ultra 3.

Design: The Ultra 4 retains a similar appearance to its predecessor, coming in Black or Natural Titanium finishes.

Health features: Apple has overhauled its health sensing system, introducing a new Readiness metric, a Health Age score, and enhanced recovery insights in the redesigned Health app. The app now also supports personal health data and lab results.

AI features: The Ultra 4 integrates Apple's Siri AI voice assistant with the ability to provide Live Rewind, allowing users to review the last 15 seconds of activity. It also includes Sound Recognition to alert users to specific sounds like sirens and alarms, as well as Siri Recap, which can generate summaries of conversations. Underneath the surface, the Ultra 4 is powered by the upgraded S11 processor, offering a notable improvement in performance.
