Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 to Gain New AI Feature That Summarizes Your Day

Apple is set to introduce two new models of the Apple Watch, the Series 12 and Ultra 4, at its upcoming "Surprise and Shine" event. These devices will come equipped with an innovative AI feature that automatically summarizes users' daily activities, including conversations they've had. This feature is designed to compete with other AI wearables on the market, but Apple's system stands out by not recording or storing any audio data, a key selling point in light of growing privacy concerns around always-listening AI hardware.

In addition to this new AI feature, the Apple Watch Series 12 will make a return to the market with a ceramic case option, a feature not seen since the Apple Watch Series 5. The Ultra 4, on the other hand, is expected to offer improved battery life. Both watches will also feature a refreshed design, with new color options and changes to the case and bands.

To complement these health and fitness enhancements, Apple is also rolling out a new app called "Readiness."
