Toronto officials have received an engineering report from Rogers Stadium's owners detailing damage caused by last week's storm, according to a city spokesperson. The city has not disclosed specifics of the report's findings but stated that they will continue collaborating with the stadium owner "throughout this process." The city's spokesperson explained that the September 3rd Order to Remedy Unsafe Building requires the property owner to hire a professional engineer to assess the damage, determine remedial actions, and oversee the completion of those repairs.

The order was issued after the severe thunderstorms wreaked havoc on the temporary stadium, causing parts of its north grandstands to collapse. This incident threatens the venue's final show of the season, scheduled for next week, which features the rock band AC/DC. Live Nation, the venue's owner, has yet to provide a comment on the matter.
