£8.28M Cotswolds mansion gutted by fire months after sale
An £8.28 million Grade II-listed Cotswolds mansion has suffered extensive damage after an electrical fire tore through the historic property. Barton House, a 17th-century manor near Guiting Power, was bought by a private owner in January 2025. The owners said they were “in so much shock” as firefighters battled the blaze for nearly 12 hours.
