The employees procured the pulse at prices ranging from Rs 1,500 to Rs 3,300 per quintal and sold it to the government at significantly higher rates, between Rs 8,558 and Rs 8,628 per quintal.
The investigation revealed that the employees managed to cheat the government system, earning a total of Rs 13.34 lakh through this fraudulent activity. As a result, the EOW has filed a First Information Report (FIR) against the three individuals accused of their involvement in the scheme.
