Yellow Cake shareholders approve all AGM resolutions

On today's AGM, Yellow Cake plc's shareholders endorsed every one of the 14 proposed resolutions, as confirmed in a press release from the company. The resolutions were divided into ordinary and special categories, with 1-12 being ordinary and 13-14 as special. The resolutions covered various matters such as reappointing directors, approving financial statements, retaining the auditor, and granting certain shares.

Resolution 13, which dealt with the exemption of pre-emption rights, was the only one to face opposition, with 78.64% in favor and 21.36% against. Despite this, it passed, and the company promised to communicate with dissenting shareholders and report back within six months, as per UK Corporate Governance Code guidelines.

The AGM saw a participation rate of 58.90% to 58.99% of the share capital, with voting rights allocated accordingly. The company's issued share capital, as of September 4, 2026, stood at 257,243,467 ordinary shares, with 5,948,259 shares held in treasury, totaling 251,295,208 voting rights.

Resolutions 1-9 all achieved high approval rates, with the reappointment of the auditor receiving an impressive 99.99%. However, resolution 13, concerning pre-emption rights, had the lowest approval rate among the approved resolutions at 78.64%. Yellow Cake is a London-based company specializing in uranium, headquartered in Jersey, and currently holds 24.4 million pounds of U3O8 stored in Canada and France.
