Lucknow, September 8: The Yogi Government in Uttar Pradesh has announced the recruitment of 1,936 Assistant Professor positions in government-aided co-educational and women's colleges. The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission released an advertisement for these posts, with applications opening on September 8, 2026.

Commission Chairman Dr. Prashant Kumar informed that a One-Time Registration (OTR) system has been introduced for candidates to streamline the recruitment process. Candidates must complete the OTR process before applying for the Assistant Professor position. The Commission emphasized that applicants must meet the specified qualifications and eligibility criteria to be considered for the post, and individual consultations regarding qualifications will not be provided.
