UCL Predictions: Where Inter, Roma, Como and Napoli could finish in 2026-27

The Opta Super Computer has released its predictions for the 2026-27 Champions League, providing insight into how Inter Milan, Roma, Como, and Napoli might fare in the upcoming season. Inter are projected to finish among the top eight or nine sides in the competition, with a 48.7% chance of progressing to the knockout phase. Their chances of reaching the round of 16 stand at 73.7%, while a quarter-final appearance is rated at 39.5%.

Inter's likelihood of advancing to the semi-finals is estimated at 18.9%, while the probability of winning the championship is 3.6%.

Roma is considered the 13th most likely side to win the Champions League, with a 55.8% chance of reaching the knockout play-off rounds. Their chances of making it to the round of 16 are 55.4%, while a quarter-final appearance is rated at 24.9%. Roma's likelihood of reaching the semi-finals is 10.1%, with a 3.7% chance of winning the title.

Como and Napoli follow, with Como being the 14th most likely side to secure the title. Their chances of progressing to the play-off rounds are 54.9% and 47.8% respectively, with quarter-final appearances rated at 20.8% and 8.5%. Napoli's probability of making it to the round of 16 is 33.2%, with a 11.6% likelihood of advancing to the quarter-finals.
