The deputy chief of the Padang Besar branch of the Bersatu party, Ramzi Md Udi, declared that he and 14 other branch chairpersons have resigned from the party due to a lack of confidence in central leadership. The announcement of the party's expulsion and the removal of their positions was made by the principal Bersatu leaders in the region, which include deputy chief Ramzi Md Udi, deputy chief Ramli Aripin, co-chairwoman Fazuwin Razak, youth chairwoman Nurul Hafiza Ramli, and secretariat members Zulkefli Hassan and Nazri Khamis.

During a recent evening media briefing, Ramzi, speaking on behalf of all individuals involved, stated that after conducting research and discussions with fellow leaders, including the 14 branch chairpersons from the Padang Besar region, they have reached a consensus to relinquish their positions and permanently withdraw from the Bersatu party.
