Thai Airways grounded several flights to Indonesia due to volcanic ash from Mount Anak Krakatau, disrupting air travel in the region. The airline canceled TG433 and TG434, and eight airports in Indonesia were initially shut, with seven remaining closed as of Monday evening. Indonesian authorities reported that the disruptions affected about 2,300 flights and over 270,000 passengers.

On September 4, a Kanchanaburi woman named Wichuda, also known as Lukpla, was found safe after being missing for a week. She had voluntarily traveled to Chiang Mai with her boyfriend, but later refused to leave her resort room when she wanted to return home. Despite showing no visible signs of mistreatment, police remain skeptical of her account and continue to investigate her boyfriend's actions.

On September 7, a worker bus overturned into a canal in Bang Pakong district, Chachoengsao, injuring 24 passengers. Around 30 people were en route to an industrial estate when the bus left a narrow road and became unstable. The 65-year-old driver claimed that a front wheel entered a rut, causing the accident, while police continue to investigate the circumstances.

In Rayong, three Chinese nationals attacked three Thai workers at a data center construction site, leaving a security guard with a broken arm. The incident occurred after an occupational safety officer questioned the Chinese workers about their access cards, revealing that two of them lacked the necessary credentials.
