Speeding Car Hits Autorickshaw, Bike Outside Gwalior SP Office; 3 Injured, Driver Flees | VIDEO

Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh: A speeding car collided with an autorickshaw, a motorcycle and multiple other vehicles outside the Superintendent of Police office on Tuesday, resulting in three injuries. The driver of the car fled the scene following the accident. The incident occurred on the main road in the University Police Station area.

Preliminary information suggests the speeding car lost control and struck the vehicles ahead of it, causing the autorickshaw to overturn. Witnesses rushed to aid the injured and transported them to a nearby hospital. The autorickshaw passenger, Bharat Singh Kushwah, among those injured, later shared a video on social media showcasing the injured individuals and the damage to the vehicles at the accident site.

CCTV footage of the collision spread across social media platforms, displaying the speeding car striking the autorickshaw and causing it to overturn. The motorcycle and several other vehicles were also damaged in the crash. University Police arrived at the scene after receiving reports and examined the accident location. Officers gathered footage from nearby CCTV cameras for the ongoing investigation.

Authorities are actively working to identify and locate the driver utilizing CCTV footage and the vehicle's registration number. Searches are being conducted in areas possibly associated with the fleeing driver. As of now, no FIR has been registered regarding the road accident in Madhya Pradesh. Police are actively trying to apprehend the suspect soon.

The daytime incident outside the SP office has sparked discussions about speeding and traffic enforcement in Gwalior.
