Sheehan Builds on Recent Successes With Winning Outing Over Reds

Despite struggling throughout the season, Sheehan had a breakout outing, earning PCL Pitcher of the Month honors with the Oklahoma City Comets. In his 5.2 innings of work, he struck out 10 batters, tying his career high, and only gave up three hits and one run while walking one batter. He allowed a solo home run to Elly De La Cruz in the first inning but left the game in the sixth inning, with two runners left on base, as Alex Vesia helped secure the victory.

The Dodgers' offensive success was led by Teoscar Hernandez, who delivered a two-hit, three-run performance. Two additional runs came on a crucial error, allowing Hernandez and Alex Call to score from the fifth inning. Max Muncy also contributed a sacrifice fly to score Will Smith.
