Salkanpur Road Accident: 4 Youths Dead After Speeding Car Crashes Into Roadside Tree On Obaidullaganj-Salkanpur Road

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: A tragic car accident claimed the lives of four youths and left another seriously injured on Obaidullaganj-Salkanpur Road late Sunday night. The incident occurred around midnight when a speeding car lost control and collided with a roadside tree near a petrol pump in Diwtiya village, which lies under the jurisdiction of Noorganj police station.

The impact caused extensive damage to the vehicle, rendering it unrecognizable. Police swiftly arrived at the scene and initiated a rescue operation, utilizing cutters to extricate the occupants trapped inside the mangled car. All four deceased were locals from Diwtiya village who had returned from Obaidullaganj. The victims, identified as Shubham Nagar (24), Gaurav Nagar (24), Ashish Nagar (22), and Krish Nagar (20), were residents of the area.

Prashant Nagar, another survivor of the accident, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to AIIMS Bhopal for treatment. The injured youth was subsequently referred to the medical facility for further care. Police promptly removed the damaged vehicle, restored traffic conditions, and registered a case in connection with the accident.

An investigation is currently underway to determine the precise cause of the collision. Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan stopped his convoy and provided assistance to the injured accident victim on the Bhopal-Mandideep road, as captured in a video.
