Qatar TV to launch new programming lineup on Sunday

Qatar TV is set to unveil its new programming lineup on September 13, signaling a renewed focus on delivering diverse local content that resonates with the community. The channel's director, Ali bin Saleh al-Sadah, emphasized the importance of striking a balance between innovation and preserving programming that has previously resonated with Qatari viewers.

The new schedule highlights a commitment to content development, with programming focused on local affairs, the family, and society. This includes revamped morning shows, programmes covering social, legal, educational, cultural, and religious topics, as well as shows dedicated to heritage, children, and human-interest stories. The channel also maintains daily and weekly coverage of local events and activities.

Key programs in the new lineup include the revamped "Fay Al-Duha" (Morning Shade), a modern morning show; "Tafsir Al-Quran" (Qur'anic Exegesis), an educational programme; and "Athar" (Impact), an educational series. Other notable additions are "Hayatuna" (our life), a daily program, "Qatar in a Week," which provides comprehensive news coverage, and "Hiwar Al-Watan" (Nation’s Dialogue), a platform for discussing local issues.

The channel also continues its "Files of the Hour" political talk show and "Madaris" (Schools), which covers the academic year and daily school activities, as well as "By Law" (Bi-Hukm Al-Qanun), which focuses on social and legal content, and "Mishwar" (Journey), highlighting major locations and events from a fresh perspective.
