Prince George ready for first day at elite Eton College

Prince George is set to embark on his first day at the prestigious Eton College, a school renowned for producing 20 British prime ministers. As a 13-year-old boarder, he will join the ranks of his father Prince William and uncle Prince Harry, who both attended the institution. George, who previously studied at Lambrook School, will join his sisters Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis at Eton on Monday.

The school's rigorous admission process includes stringent tests, and parents pay an annual fee of £63,298 ($A118,791) for the experience, which extends beyond academics to instilling self-reliance and leadership skills.
