Pantera to Headline NOLA Festival Featuring Down, Corrosion of Conformity, and Black Label Society

Pantera will headline a two-day festival called The Great NOLA Trendkill, showcasing a roster of metal and sludge bands like Down, Corrosion of Conformity, Black Label Society, and more. The event will take place on November 20th and 21st at Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, marking Pantera frontman Philip Anselmo's first performance back in his hometown in 30 years. Other bands gracing the lineup include Power Trip, Crowbar, Eyehategod, Pig Destroyer, Rāde, and Herakleion.

Pre-sales for tickets are now open using the code NOLA on Ticketmaster, with a general sale set to begin on September 11th at 10 a.m. CT. Anselmo will be fronting both Pantera and Down, with Down's performance serving as the official record release show for the band's upcoming album, Volume V. Anselmo expressed excitement about returning to New Orleans for the festival, stating, "To be back in New Orleans with such a package of bands and events is a dream come true."

Along with the festival, there will be the return of Anselmo's Housecore Horror convention, featuring movie screenings, special appearances, and more. Separate ticketing details for this event will be announced. The festival takes its name from Pantera's 1996 album, The Great Southern Trendkill, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
