Ombak KLCC Pokémon Pop-up store queues open at 6am. Will you be there Sept 12?

Kuala Lumpur, on September 8, marked the start of the countdown for the Pokémon Pop-up store's 30th anniversary celebrations. The good news for fans is that the store will be open on September 12, but be prepared for early mornings. Queue openings begin at 6am, giving die-hard fans a chance to snag exclusive Pokémon merchandise.

However, tickets to enter the store will only be handed out from 8am in the Level G Ombak KLCC entrance. Importantly, no trading card game (TCG) products will be sold on the day, though this could change in the future.

For those who want to avoid the crowds, KLCC Park offers a range of activities. The main event, the PokéXciting! Parade, has two 30-minute sessions: one from 1:30pm to 2pm and another from 6pm to 6:30pm in the evening. Fans can also enjoy various stage shows, featuring the popular Pikachu Dance Show at 2pm-2:15pm and 6:45pm-7pm, as well as a ROCK - PokéXciting! Special Night Show from 7:40pm to 8:10pm. If stage shows aren't your thing, don't miss the special PokéXciting! Drone Show, which takes place from 9 to 9:10pm.

Other attractions include booths where you can collect sun visors, Pokéscape, and Pokémon Kids TV-related items from 2pm to 7:30pm. There's also a separate Pokémon Go booth open from 10am to 7:30pm. For those driving to Ombak KLCC or KLCC, it's advisable to use the Putrajaya MRT instead, with the Persiaran KLCC stop just across from Ombak KLCC.

For those taking the Kelana Jaya LRT, you can get off at Ampang Park and switch to the Putrajaya MRT, or switch at KLCC and walk to the park and Ombak KLCC. Lastly, Kajang Line MRT users can switch to the Putrajaya line at Kwasa Damansara or TRX.
